Vera has been a licensed instructor since 2010, bringing over 15 years of hands-on classroom and one-on-one tutoring experience to SparkBrain Learning. She is currently an adjunct professor at Lehman College, CUNY, and St. John's University, where she teaches first-year writing and mentors the next generation of educators.
A proud graduate of Queens College, CUNY, Vera earned both a B.A. in English and an M.Ed. in Literacy Education, along with postgraduate work in Educational Leadership. Her deep understanding of how students learn — combined with a genuine passion for helping every child reach their full potential — is what makes SparkBrain different. She personally oversees every tutor and every lesson plan to ensure consistency, quality, and real results.
