How a session works

The SparkBrain Method

1
Read & Research

Students read an engaging article or watch a short video on a debatable topic — "Should kids get paid for good grades?" or "Is social media good for society?" They annotate, highlight key points, and identify the main arguments on each side.

2
Analyze & Form a Position

Guided by our instructors, students break down the arguments, evaluate the strength of each side's evidence, and decide where they stand. They learn to distinguish between opinions and evidence-backed claims.

3
Build the Argument

Students write out their claim, select their strongest evidence, and anticipate what the other side will say. They practice the structure: claim → evidence → reasoning → counterargument → rebuttal. This is the same framework used in competitive debate and academic writing.

4
Present & Debate

Students deliver their argument with strong posture, clear voice, and eye contact. Then comes the debate — defending under questioning, listening to the other side, and responding in real time. This is where confidence is truly built.
